The process begins with an initial meeting to discuss your aspirations for the garden. This detail then forms the brief for the project. The brief will become the foundation on which the whole garden is centred; it will determine preferred tastes and styles, practical requirements, timescales, budgets etc.
Before design work begins a thorough survey of the site will need to be completed. This will identify all factors on site which could influence the final design, whether inside the house, in the garden itself or in the surrounding environment.
The final design will embrace all factors established by the brief and survey. It will present a garden of sensitively integrated spaces, suited specifically to the site and client and will be designed to encourage optimum enjoyment and appreciation of the garden.
Planting is as much a part of the design as the underlying structure of the garden. Taste and style, colour, suitability, texture, scent and form are all vital components of successful combinations.
We can oversee the entire build process, using the most suitable and competitive contractors and ensuring the build is completed according to the design and to the highest standards.
Once the garden is finished we can help with its maintenance by sourcing suitable gardeners and providing detailed maintenance schedules.
